This includes New Game + saves that haven't even finished the story. ![]() Jin will also start the game with a horse design exclusive to New Game + you won't be able to choose it. ![]() You'll also be able to choose the name for your horse, from the ones you did not pick from the save your New Game + save is based on.When setting up New Game +, you'll choose the difficulty and the cinematic experience, similar to a normal New Game.If you want to experience the Prologue again, you should start a normal New Game.New Game + will start at Act 1 where you gain access to the open world, skipping the opening Prologue with the Battle at Komoda Beach, Jin's escape with Yuna from Komoda Town, and the failed rescue at Castle Kaneda.It'll instead happen when you pick "Save Game" from the Pause Menu from within the game itself. While you'll be asked to "Overwrite" a save, this will not actually occur.Make sure you've loaded the save you intend to inherit the Gear and Techniques from before starting. IMPORTANT: New Game Plus is always initiated from the most recently-played save.New Game + will then be available to you from the title screen. To begin New Game +, you'll need to have completed the full story of Ghost of Tsushima and rolled credits.New Game Plus in Ghost of Tsushima is a way to replay the entire game whilst keeping all of your Gear Techniques and Vanity Items from a previous playthrough, allowing you access to more of the world from the get-go and giving you all of your equipment from the beginning (making it a great way to complete the game on the Hard or Lethal difficulties).
